Freedom Film Fest 2016, Singapore

Freedom Film Festival 2016, Singapore was held at the Projector on 19 and 20 November 2016. 11 powerful films from different parts of the world resonating with this year theme of “What Lies Beneath“. We hope these films brought new insights and ways to look at critical issues confronting humanity currently, ranging from food security,  responses to the conflicts of conservative interpretation of religious doctrines , human stories behind environmental issues and the individual struggles of victims of discrimination and sexual violence.

FFF 2016 Singapore also held three separate fringe screenings from weeks leading to the main screening at the Projectors. We look forward to more screenings of these wonderful films with various communities and to promote discussions on the issues with them.
